ANVAR ERGASHEV (born in 1954) - the Honored Art Worker of Uzbekistan (1996), Laureate of State prize (2007), graduated from the Tashkent State Conservatory, having specialized in piano, conducting, and composition (class of M.Tajiev). In his creative work A.Ergashev refers to various genres of modern composer's music. Particularly, two concertos for piano and orchestra, a concerto for violoncello and orchestra, songs, chamber-instrumental music, and also music to more than 20 films and 30 dramatic performances possess place among his compositions.
The creative talent of the composer vividly displayed in the sphere of cinema music; His songs from films “Sharif and Marif”, "The Bomb", "Give me your star, sky", "Penitence", "Big scandal" gained the sympathy of the general public. The music for chamber orchestra "Doston-music", which was performed in Kottbus (Germany) in 1994 for the first time, will sound at the Festival. In the base of this work lies the principle of single-theme development with its figurative transformations, reaching the creation of contrast structural sections
