DILOROM OMONULLAEVA (born in Tashkent in 1959), the Honoured Art Worker of Uzbekistan (2006), was awarded the “Dustlik” (“Friendship”). She graduated from assistance-probation at the Tashkent State Conservatory (1990) and the Academy of State and Society Building (1998).

D.Omonullaeva is one of the talented representatives of the young composers’ generation. She attempts to realize her creative interests in various stylish trends. Such large compositions as two symphonies, a concerto for piano and orchestra, a chorus series on the verses of O.Khayyom, two vocal-symphonic odes witness the development of the composer. D.Omonullaeva also pays attention to the chamber instrumental genre. Particularly, such compositions as three sonatas for piano, the Polyphonic book, “The landscape of Samarkand” are notable for their rich decorative properties and the variety of means of expression of the piano. It can also be mentioned that D.Omonullaeva works in the sphere of children's music. More than 100 songs, dedicated to children, such as "ABC songs" and "Puzzle songs", are appreciated by young audience. However, the most distinguished achievements of the composer are related with variety songs: She created more than 80 compositions in this genre. Her songs, resting on Uzbek classic poetry (Navoi, Nodira) and verses of modern poets (Azimov, Muminova, Jabbarov), managed to gain the love of the audience for their sincerity, contemporaneity and having a vivid national sole. The songs of the composer are entered on repertoire of famous singers, such as K.Razzakova, K.Kayumov, M.Oynakulova, A.Rahimova, M.Imamova, etc. In the latter years D.Omonullaeva becomes famous as the master of song in the world. Her song on the verses of U.Azimov, dedicated to the International Music Festival "Sharq Taronalari" in 1997, became the anthem of that festival.
